"Make your mark with your Light"

And there you have it. Just like that another milestone has been checked off my journey of life. College Graduation. The end of a chapter, the beginning of a new.
I'm here to note that just because I’m a college graduate, does not mean I have it all together, figured out or even know exactly where I’m going and as scary as that kind of is I am completely okay with that. Because I realize that I am still so young and there is still so much life that I have yet to experience and discover beyond what I already know; even beyond a big accomplishment as this.
During my time spent pursuing this degree I learned so much. Of course about my field of study but also so much about myself. Along the way I discovered what I truly want out of life and how I want to live it. I know for sure that I want to give genuine and impactful value to people through my work. It wasn't just about getting reinforced by the best grades, doing the most or being best in my class. It was this intention that carried me through. My highest self would always whisper to me during tough times and say, “Make your mark with your Light” which would remind me that I have so much to offer and so much to give.
This is an educational accomplishment yes, but it also symbolizes something that I chose to go for to help serve what I truly believe in - To pursue a career that contributes to the mental health field where I can somehow help people have their mental and emotional needs met.
I could not be more sure that this is the field that I am meant to be in; especially with everything that our world has gone through in the past two years and personal experiences of my own that I have learned from. I’m looking forward to making MY MARK, MY CONTRIBUTION, with clear awareness to obtain goals for BOTH stability AND passion.
I’m grateful. thankful. blessed. “By Grace, through Faith.” Head held high for whats to come next, from here.✨🦋
